A four hour ride to and back just to go to a doctor is crazy but my brother went there for 20 years and is still continuing, so those are the only doctors we trust. The doctor said I'm normal or at least my heart is. I got some good advice from the doctors, and i'm gonna use.

Friday night: went out to eat with my cousin Dillon at Flying Cowboys, and then we went to Zaxby's and I got to see some of my friends.
Saturday: Parade and OMG it was freezing and I was frozen.
Sunday: Church, eat, Family Pictures, then we got a christmas tree and me and my brothers girlfriend decorated it.
Overall it was a great weekend!! The parade was fun I got to see some old friends, and taking pictures with the family was really fun and decorating the tree.

Favorite Memory: The christmas before my brother got diagonosed with diabetes, he got one of those turtle golf course things and we played it and then he played with me and my doll I got and it was just a great time. Nothing was wrong I was about 7 and everything was so simple then.

Really school is getting on my last nerve teachers not ezxplaining anything and people sending you into the wall because they are trying to get to class. Having people treat my car like its just a piece of junk is really starting to tick me off. They just throw their crap into it and don't even think oh yeah thats going to scratch if I put my books on top or if I just throw my books I'm not going to tear the interior. Try telling that to 3 little sophomores. I've been trying to keep it clean but I can't everytime I get into it there is more crap and its not even mine. That's the deal I made with my parents keep it clean and I don't get it took. Ugh but anyways I can't wait to start sanding it because then my dad's going to paint it I just can't figure out what color. So now after practice today I have to go home and vacum it, and shampoo it. I can't tell them anything.

This was a great weekend. Friday of course was the Shaw game and we won 34-0. We didn't get there till 5 minutes before half-time, and we didn't know the flag work for american woman. I didn't care, the band truck had already broke down and we were late, half-time was over and I thought we done a pretty good job even if we didn't know one song. Saturday I got to spend the whole day with Josh. We rode fourwheelers, muddbogged a little bit, went to the pond and I watched them kneeboard and ski, and then we watched a movie. It was a great day. Sunday church and then walmart and then I went home and chilled. Hopefully this week will be okay.

I admire my brother so much. He has been through so much but has still came out on top. He has type 1 diabetes and a artifical heart valve that had to be replaced last summer. We have almost lost him a couple of times but he has graduated highschool and college. He never lets anything put him down, he doesn't quit on anything he keeps at it until he gets it. It doesn't matter how big or how small the job is.

I loved yesterday, no practice, no drama, just a mountain dew and a reese cup. laugh out loud. I had everything planned out. I was gonna go home clean up for my mom then clean out my car and wash it because when you have three passengers riding with you everywhere it gets dirty real fast. Trust me it looks kinda bad right now. When I got home I cleaned up but somehow I didn't make it to wash my car. I just turned on music and chilled.

That I made it on Auxiliary 3 years now. Last year I messed up on my tryouts so bad I thought for sure I wasn't going to make it, but I guess with the help of Mr. Myers and the fact that I ran the whole mile meant something. All you gotta do is keep on smiling and keep on going.

It's great to have a four day weekend. I slept in friday, saturday, and monday. Friday night went to the football game it was good and I'm super glad we won, but we sucked and everything that could of went wrong during half-time did. Well saturday I went to the Mad Mudd Bog and got to put my brothers old truck in the mudd. That was fun and I would of got to drive through it if the oil pressure didn't mess up in the truck. I wish I could have his old truck but it's all good I love my 98 mustang!! Sunday of course church, walmart, home and then made cds for everyone. Monday I was just lazy didn't do any thing but help my mom clean up when she asked. Overall it was a good weekend!!

I do agree that everyone should have healthcare, especially the ones who really need it. I think we should be able to pick the doctor and the type of healthcare we want. If the government were to pick our doctor our health benefits and what we pay for it, a lot of us would be mad and probably would not get the help that we may need. I mean it costs a lot to get the supplies you need now and I just think that our health is our business and we should be able to do what we think is right for us, not a million us.

Oh my gosh, I'm so ready for homecoming, its going to be great. I actually got my homecomin dress its bronze with a mint green up under it, its really cute. my date has just got to figure out what to wear now. I just really hope that we don't lose the game, that would not be good. Still though it should be a great weekend.

The pep rally was pretty good. I liked when Dr. Tanner got up and danced. It sucked that we lost and the football players were giving it their all. The band sits in the inzone now and now we have footballs being kicked at us from every direction so thats cool that we get to catch them but half the time we don't. We will win this week though.

I think the fans do make a difference with how well we play. When the fans are pumped they and we are cheering them on they want to deliever a great game and keep us on the edge of our seats. This week has been the most stressful one yet. Crazy homework, test, the first game is friday and we are not ready for halftime. We don't know half of the dances, we have the flag routine down but we have to learn 2 new dances and clean 2 other ones. Drama on danceline, that sucks so bad because then we get even more stressed out, I'm breaking out. It just hasn't been a good week. I'm ready for friday night, its going to be fun but I just hope we can get everything together in time.

My favorite saying is "Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game!!" There could be a million reasons or excuses to not try something new and I have done it sometimes. When i think of that quote though I think why not and I do try something new, like a new club, sport, a new kind of food, a new toss with my flag even though 9 out of 10 times I always hit my head or arm. It hurts but its always okay and trying something new is always fun. So Don't let the fear of something new keep you from what you want to do.

My weekend was pretty good. Friday night i went out to eat with my parents at the catfish house. That was some good popcorn shrimp lol. Saturday I slept in and then helped my mom clean up and then got ready and went to waycross with Josh and saw Micheal Staci at Cypress Creek. He is a country singer he isn't big yet but he sure could sing any song you knew and it was fun because I went with Josh. Sunday I went to church, then walmart, then i washed and cleaned out my car.

Sometimes I think highschool is more work than usual. Especially when you have a major project due and your printer wont print. Practice till 6 and then you get home, eat dinner, do homework, and your staying up till 10:30 to do one project. If you don't have a project and you have homework then it's homework, a shower, and then bed. Teachers screaming at the class to stay quiet, 40 people in a class, not staying on task or just asking someone behind you a question. Finally it's friday, the last one before football games start, which I'm ready for. No teachers, no projects hopefully, no practice, just chillen with your friends and not worrying about anything for at least 3 days. Oh yeah fridays are defintly my favorite days of the week.

They have been going out for 3 years and they are going to get married after she finishes nursing school. My mom is Terry Burkett, she used to be an Anderson until she married my dad Johnny Burkett. My dad owns a mechanic shop which my brother works at, and my mom works at a bank. I have 2 grandmas, Granny Bob and Granny Angie. My grandpa died with cancer, and my other grandpa I never met.

There are 5 things i can't live without. One is my cell phone, I have to talk to my friends and knowing me I have a question about a project or homework. Another thing would have to be my mp3 player, music is like my escape anytime I'm mad or upset I listen to music and it can usually calm me down. Number 3 would have to be my doggie, lucy, she's my little protector even though she is like 2 feet tall. The fourth thing would have to be my licence if I don't have those I can't drive and evenever I can I drive. Number 5 would be my family, if I didn't have them I really don't know what I would do or where I would be today.

Our half time show for band this year is pretty good. It's quitar hero and we get to dance with quitars, but after your done you have a ton of glitter on you. The songs are Livin on a Prayer, Walk this way, Walk the dinosour, and American Woman. Even though its a lot of work going to band camp, learning routines, getting frusterated at Mr. Myers making you go back and forth to the same spot, and having practice eveyday it's really worth it on friday nights. I'm so ready for the first game it's going to be a lot of fun, but I'm hoping i don't grab the wrong flag or drop my flag on the first show that would be embarrasing.

The class that I like the most is U.S. History, and I'm striving for a high A in the class. I like history the most because you can learn so much about all the differnet countrys and continents that you never knew before and my teacher is pretty cool even though the class is a little hard we are learning a lot and it's a challenge which I like. I don't think we need to. That is a little extreme because no one has been reported with swine flu. If no one has it then we shouldn't wear the mask and even if someone did have it i don't think we need to. Just keep everything sanitized like washing your hands and make sure if you have a cold or if you are sick then just make sure you cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze.

I have visited Florida, Tennesse, and Georgia. I have not been out of state to much just on vacation and I always love it when we go somewhere new and I can explore. I have lived in Douglas GA my whole life, love it, but I do plan to travel when I get done with highschool and might even go to college in another state even though I highly doubt that.

One goal this year that I have set is to do the best I can in all my classes, and in any sports I do; like band, danceline, and tennis. My other goal is to just be myself and do things my way not my friends or my parents way. I'm trying to get a job to, I work sometimes with my dad when he needs it or just needs someone to pick parts up, but I want to get a job of my own to show that I can be independant. My next goal is to be single for a while so i can focus on school and band,and not get caught up in any drama thats just flat out pointless. My last goal for this year is to make my parents and myself proud of me.
